During the SNEC PV Power Expo 2023, China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) held meetings with international representatives of the PV sector. On May 23, the China-Brazil PV Industry Exchange Seminar, held by the CPIA and co-organized by the Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation (CIETC) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and the Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (ABSOLAR), successfully concluded in Shanghai. The conference bears great significance in improving interconnectivity between Chinese and Brazilian PV industries and promoting bilateral industrial cooperation.

On May 24 and May 25, Mr. Ru Jialin, Deputy Director of International Affairs of the CPIA, joined in conversations with Dr. Thomas Reindl of the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), Mr. Máté Heisz, Director of Global Affairs of SolarPower Europe (SPE) and Chair of the Board of Global Solar Council (GSC), and delegates from the Cambodian Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). They held discussions on a wide range of topics, including Chinese PV companies’ overseas layout, global PV market developments, bilateral and multilateral cooperation, etc.

Mr. Ru noted that the CPIA looks forward to conducting more conversations and deepening cooperation with national and international PV associations to boost the development of solar PV globally.
